Harvester is named after the fact that its harvest in July is always impressive. This high producing peach tree has juicy fruit that are delicious right off the tree or used in preserves or pies. The peaches are freestone fruit, which means the flesh separates easily from the pit (seed). The peaches are preceded by a heavy display of white and pink flowers in the Spring. These flowers are self-fertile, so it does not need a pollinator in order to produce fruit. However, the harvest is often larger if multiple trees are planted. This compact tree grows 10-15' tall and 8-10' wide in full sun. Hardy to Zone 4/5.
