Rhus Tiger Eyes® #10

Tiger Eyes is a beautiful golden-leafed form of cutleaf staghorn sumac. New growth is a lively chartreuse, quickly changing to yellow, both colors contrasting nicely with the rosy-pink leaf stems. Branches angle upward while the deeply cut leaflets drape downward. In fall, the foliage turns to a dramatic effect of yellow, red and orange. The plant suckers somewhat, but not profusely. We have found it easy to dig out the occasional sucker. Grows in full sun to part shade, reaching 6' or more tall and wide. Hardy to Zone 4.
