Acer r. Armstrong Gold® #7

Armstrong Gold® is an improved Armstrong® with better fall color and a more compact branching structure. Growing 40' tall and only 12' wide makes this selection a great candidate for a street tree where space is limited. There is a street at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign that is lined with Armstrong® maples and the mass planting always puts on a show every fall. Grows best in full sun and is hardy to Zone 4.
