Butterfly Weed is a fine border plant producing brilliant orange flowers. The milkweed-type pods are used in dried flower arrangements. Breaks dormancy late. Attracts butterflies (loved by Monarchs) and hummingbirds. Grows best in full sun and fairly dry conditions. Reaches around 2' tall and wide. Hardy to Zone 3.
