A natural hybrid found in the mountains of Scotland during the Victorian era, this small, slow-growing, deciduous shrub boasts an erect habit and rounded, silvery gray leaves. As plants age, they develop a gnarly branch structure that lends character to the winter scene. Part of Iseli Nursery’s Fanciful Gardens® collection, the compact willow adds color, texture and form to small spaces, troughs or containers. Said to be tolerant of many challenges, including deer, drought, pollution, and salt.Grows 1' tall and wide in full sun to part shade. Hardy to Zone 4.
