This is the rounded, spreading shrub with pink stems, grafted on a 4' standard. Green, pink, and white variegated foliage, with some leaves all white, put on a nice show. Best in part shade to keep the white from burning. May need staked as a young plant until the trunk thickens and strengthens. Prune back young plants in the spring (and perhaps again in the summer) to keep it from becoming top heavy. As a more mature plant, it can be pruned back to look like a light colored lollipop, or allowed to weep and hang down. Grows 9' tall and 6' wide. Hardy to Zone 4.
