Asimina triloba 'NC-1' GRAFT #1

'NC-1' is an early-ripening variety that produces quality fruit. These paw paws are large in size with a tropical flavor. Initial taste is strong on banana with undertones of mango and a refreshing aftertaste of melon. The dense flesh has a high pulp-to-seed ratio. Introduced by Doug Campbell from Ontario, Canada in 1976, 'NC-1' is hardy to Zone 5. Protect young trees from direct sunlight.
