Diospyros v. 'I-94' GRAFT #3

'I 94' American Persimmon is also known as Claypool 1-94 or Valeen Beauty. This Large fruit has clear flesh with excellent flavor. The fruit ripens early in October. It differs from Early Golden by being slightly larger, more oblate and has brighter orange skin. 'I-94' boasts very large and glossy leaves, making it a beautiful tree year-round. Another variety is needed for cross-pollination. 'Elmo', 'Garretson', and 'Yates' are recommended companions. Full sun is best for fruit set. Grows 35-60' tall and is hardy to Zone 4.
