Purple Milkweed is a native that produces deep pink blooms on strong, stiff stems, growing 2-3' tall and wide. Grows will in full sun to part shade, preferring moist but well drained soil. Hummingbirds and butterflies love this plant. Deer resistant. Hardy to Zone 3.
