Marsh Blazing Star tolerates a bit more moisture than the other native varieties. Dense spikes of tiny purple-pink flowers bloom from the top down. Will grow in heavy soils. Attracts birds, butterflies, bees and parasitic wasps. Grows in full sun, 3-4' tall and 12-18" wide, but can go to 5' tall. Hardy to Zone 3.
