Chamaecyparis o. 'Vokel's Upright' #10 4-5'

'Vokel's Upright' is one of the hardiest forms of Hinoki Cypress. Hinokis are known for their rich, dark green color and irregular branching pattern that provide for unique a unique texture. 'Vokel's Upright' is a newer variety that takes these characteristics to a whole new level. It is listed as growing to 4' tall and 1' wide in 10 years. This one is already 4-5' tall, so we assume that it will get a bit taller than that, but since it is a slow grower, it should not outgrow its space anytime soon. Makes a nice small specimen all by itself, or as a pair on either side of an entrance. Like most Hinokis, it is best in some afternoon shade here in the Midwest. Hardy to Zone 4.
