This excellent, slow-growing dwarf is one of the bluest there is. But what makes it unique are the red cones on the ends of each branch tip in the spring. The red lasts for two months. Its ten-year size is listed at 2' tall and 3' wide, so it will get a bit larger than that with more time. Best in full sun, and hardy to Zone 3.
'Ruby Teardrops' was named 'Collectors Conifer of the Year' in 2016 by the American Conifer Society. With its great color all season and resistance to deer and rabbits, it's sure to become a very popular plant as supplies grow.
