#7

This is the excellent Dwarf Korean Lilac grafted on a 4' standard. It's a profuse bloomer with purple buds opening to fragrant, lilac-lavender flowers in late May to early June. Foliage has a slight red tinge. The top is easily trimmed to any size. As a young plant, it should be trimmed back right after blooming in order to not become too top heavy until the trunk gets thicker and stronger. Does best in full sun. Grows 6-8' tall with a  spread of 4-6'. Hardy to Zone 3.
