This Red Spruce is a very narrow, upright grower with weeping branches, making a great vertical accent without taking up room. Staking is probably not needed, but you might stake a young plant if it is not shooting straight up the way you want it to. Garden size is 20' tall with spread of 4'. Hardy to Zone 4.
