This is one of the first hostas to emerge from the ground in the spring. It has huge, pointed leaves with wide yellow margins that tend to streak into the centers. It's always a favorite here at the gardens. First of all, it's just plain gorgeous. And secondly, it gets up and unfurls while most other hostas are just poking their noses out of the ground. It grows into an upright mound 27" tall and up to 68" wide. Near white flowers in summer.
