This fantastic sport of 'Halcyon' is one of our very favorites. The beautiful blue leaves edged by yellow margins in spring that turn creamy white in summer. It looks great all season, right up until autumn's first frost. Thus, the name. Grows 16" tall and 36" wide. Lavender flowers in mid summer.
'First Frost' is one of our "go to" hostas, along with 'Halcyon' and 'June'. These three "sister" hostas go great together because they have the same look as far as leaf shape and clump size go, and they share that outstanding powder blue color. Plus they hold up well all season.
