When young, the foliage clumps and mounds, creating a unique little sculpture. With age, 'Catherine Elizabeth' will begin to spread, creating a broad, squat pyramid of light blue-green, short needled foliage. Performance will be at its best in a sunny location with well-drained soil. Annual removal of fallen older foliage that has colleted among the interior branches is recommended.
