Fast growing and vigorous, 'America' is a glorious climbing rose with elegant sprays of fully double, perfectly shaped, coral flowers, 3" across. Opening from pointed buds, they have a strong and delightful clove fragrance. Borne mostly one per stem, but occasionally in small clusters, they bloom in flushes from late spring to fall. The color contrasts nicely with the leathery, dark green foliage. A popular climber prized for its vigor, prolific blooms, intoxicating perfume and excellent disease resistance. Can climb up to 10-15' tall and 4-6' wide. Hardy to Zone 5.
