Tom Thumb is a low cushion forming plant with glossy dark green leaves, great for a rock garden or creeping over a wall. Pink flowers sometimes yield red fruit, but the superb red fall foliage is reward enough. Prefers full sun and dry soil. It grows only 1' tall and 3-6' wide, self-rooting where stems touch the ground. Very hardy to Zone 4.
