This contorted willow is a small tree of great ornamental value. The trunk and older branches are upright, forming an oval, rounded crown, but the younger branches weep gracefully downward, curling and twisting and hanging to the ground. The contorted branches provide interest all year. The narrow, twisted foliage adds to the contorted, ornamental show and turns yellow in fall. Bark is golden colored. A great ornamental to plant in moist areas. Grows 25' tall and wide. Hardy to Zone 5.
