This full, upright spruce is an excellent choice for adding bright, year-round color to a large garden. Its small, glossy needles emerge electric yellow in spring and gradually soften to a rich gold that stands out against darker, interior foliage. Best color in full sun, although protections may be warranted in scorching summer climates. A slow grower, its garden size is 25' tall and 15' wide. Hardy to Zone 4.
