This wonderful dwarf winterberry sets a heavy berry display that shines in the winter landscape. At 2-3' tall and wide, it fits into more landscapes than older, larger varieties. Plant in full sun to part shade. Avoid pruning except to remove whole branches for cut flowers or other decorating. Be sure to plant the male 'Jim Dandy' to pollinate in order to produce berries. Plant Mr. Poppins within 50'. One male can pollinate 7-10 females. Excellent small shrub for wet soils along streams or ponds. Winterberry is deer resistant and does well in full sun to part shade, and this variety is hardy to Zone 3.
