This dwarf, less vigorous carpet juniper grows 8-18" tall and its long sprawling branches reach 6' wide. It works well as a groundcover, cascading over walls, in rock gardens, or up against foundations or walkways to help soften the edges. Foliage may turn purple in the winter. It will tolerate a wide range of soil types, but will not tolerate too much moisture. This tough little, drought tolerant juniper is cute enough to fit in just about any landscape. Once established, they require little to no maintenance.
