A unique specimen willow with bright yellow-gold leaves that retain their color throughout the entire growing season. After the leaves drop in the fall, the brick red stems take center stage and add significant winter interest. Like most willows, it tolerates wet conditions. Once established, its tolerant of drought and urban pollution, making for one tough tree. Grows 15-18' tall and 10-15' wide with an upright spreading habit. If a tree form is to be maintained, lower branches and shoots need to be removed. Needs full sun and is hardy to Zone 4.
