It's a vigorous grower with a good central leader, and is faster growing with a more upright shape than is typical of sugar maples. Upright, oval form. The dark green foliage turns fiery orange-red to red in the fall. Grows 50' tall with a spread of 35'. Hardy to Zone 4.
