This newer hydrangea has garnered rave reviews! Ruby Snow's ™ bright white panicles open in mid-summer. Closer to fall, as the nights cool, each cone shaped panicle turns ruby-red from the base up, leaving the tips topped in white like a snow cone. A compact form with strong stems, Ruby Snow™ stands proud wherever she gets planted. Plant in groupings or as exclamation marks along a garden path to draw the eye in. As with most Hydrangeas, morning sun and afternoon shade is best. That being said, if watered well throughout the dry season, grouped plantings of panicle hydrangeas in full sun can be spectacular! Grows to 3-4' tall and 4-5' wide and is hardy to Zone 4.
This is the largest container size of panicle hydrangea that we've ever carried! We felt Ruby Snow was worth it. These multi-stem specimens have been grown for many seasons and trained to have superior branching structures. You won't need to wait 3 years for a beautiful plant. This one provides instant satisfaction!
