Large pink catkins bloom in late winter to early spring and hold up well when cut. Silvery-green foliage is silky underneath and covers the plant in summer. Thrives in full sun and will grow in almost any soil type, but needs regular water in areas of low rainfall. Cut back to encourage the best display of catkins. Grows 5-6' tall and is hardy to Zone 4.
