A sport of Prunus x cistena, Big Cis® is a purple leaf plum that grows quickly to a heavy-trunked, sturdy tree that is intermediate in size, growing to 14' tall and 12' wide. It produces light pink, very fragrant flowers in spring and dark purple foliage all season. A fine smaller tree, good in sun to part shade. Hardy to Zone 4.
