The foliage on this stunning, upright tree looks more like fern fronds than typical Hinoki branches. Each arching, rich green branch tapers to a fine point, instead of the more usual cupped tip. Trees develop a handsome, open habit, so they stand out as focal points. Pruning encourages a more compact shape, if desired. Grow in moist, well-drained soil in light shade or afternoon shade. Garden size is listed as 10' tall and 7' wide. Hardy to Zone 5
