The Weeping White Spruce is easily one of our favorite conifers. We have several growing in the gardens. It grows straight up like a rocket without needing to be staked. The branches hang down with soft, light gray-green needles. Makes a great narrow, vertical accent. It can eventually reach 40' tall and 8' wide, but stays very narrow for a long time. Our oldest specimen was only a little over 4' wide when the tree was 25 years old and over 25' tall. Hardy as a rock--Zone 2!
