'Chappell' is a must-have variety! Fruits from this cultivar have an outstanding flavor and texture. The thick, custard flesh has an exotic fruity aroma and flavor with a hint of honey sweetness. Average fruits are 8-12 ounces, with some as large as 1 pound. This variety is exceptionally fast growing, strong and healthy. Developed by Kentucky State University, this cultivar is one of the best tasting, fastest growing options available.
