Hosta Bloodline small

From Doug Ruff of Minnesota comes the reddest hosta yet! Deep burgundy covers the entire leaf. Best color develops with cool nights and some direct sun. It has proved to be a good grower, and holds its red color until mid- to late summer. Forms a mound around 14" tall and 24" wide, perhaps a bit larger than 'First Blush', which is one of its parents. Light purple flowers on red scapes add to the beauty of this reddest of red hostas.
