The golden yellow new growth of this honeylocust puts on a fine show all season. Spring growth turns green, but new yellow growth continues to be pushed from the tips of the branches. Irregular, somewhat rectangular growth habit. Very small leaves let filtered light in below and don't pose a raking problem. Grows 35-40' tall and 30-35' wide. Hardy to Zone 4.
