Vibrant pinkish-red flowers are 6" across, blooming in late spring. The foliage has a hint of purple when young. Plant in full sun to part shade. Grows 4-5' tall and 3-4' wide. Hardy to Zone 4.
Tree peonies are not trees, but are woody shrubs that slowly grow to the mature size listed. So do not cut them back to the ground as you would a garden peony.
