Fagus s. 'Dawyck Purple #7

This European Beech has a columnar, fastigiate form with gorgeous purple foliage. It fits into smaller spaces and makes a great vertical accent. Sometimes referred to as a "copper beech" because the spring foliage absolutely glows with a coppery red color in the early morning and late afternoon sun. Then the foliage turns to the dark color that it holds for the rest of the season. Grows 40' tall and only 12' wide. Hardy to Zone 5.
