Especially during winter, the eye-catching, brilliant white candles of Pinus thunbergii ‘Thunderhead’ create a striking contrast to the thick, glossy, green needles. ‘Thunderhead’ develops a dense, billowy, cloud-like form that may mature to a form as wide as tall. Plant in full sun. Garden size is 15' tall and 12' wide. Hardy to Zone 5.
