Acer g. Fireburst® MS B&B 6'

Superior branch structure, upright and uniform shape, predictable performance and speedy growth are among the improved attributes of this Paperbark Maple cultivar. Bark coloration and exfoliating character are outstanding, as is the quality of dark green foliage that turns brilliant red in autumn. Grows in sun to part shade, 25' tall and 18' wide. Hardy to Zone 5.

We don't have any Fireburst® planted on our grounds, but there are 5 Paperbark Maples planted throughout the arboretum, ranging from 5-25 years old. They are slower growing trees, so it's nice to see a more vigorous cultivar making its way into people's landscapes.
