'Tamukeyama' is outstanding among the laceleaf weepers for its rich foliage color. Leaves hold their deep purple color through the heat of summer better than other varieties, and then turn bright red in fall. The tree has a spreading, weeping form, growing 8' tall and up to 12' wide over time. Prune this low head form to maintain shape, as desired. Best in afternoon shade. Hardy to Zone 5.
