Juniperus h. 'Blue Chip' #2

Juniperus h. 'Blue Chip' forms a mass of low-growing, silvery blue-green foliage. Great ground cover for rocky or sandy soils, and adapts well to most locations, as long as drainage is good. A mauve to deep purple tinge covers the foliage in the winter time, adding more interest. Blue cones are small, round, and berry-like. 'Blue Chip' is drought tolerant, deer resistant, and grows best in full sun. Creeping habit grows under 1 ft tall and 8 to 10 feet wide. Hardy to Zone 3.
