Hydrangea p. Quick Fire Fab® #5

Quick Fire Fab® shares the same super-early bloom time, reliability, and easy-going nature of the original Quick Fire hydrangea, but adds big, full, showy mophead blooms to the mix. The blooms turn from white to bright pink, then red, holding their color best in afternoon shade. Prune back by one third in early spring to control size, if desired. The plant grows 5-6' tall and wide and is hardy to Zone 4. As with most Hydrangeas, morning sun and afternoon shade is best. That being said, if watered well throughout the dry season, grouped plantings of panicle hydrangeas in full sun can be spectacular!
