This serviceberry is a well-branched, fast growing tree. It has delicate, ornamental white flowers in spring, followed in fall with edible berries that attract birds. Watch for the cedar waxwings to come in a flock and strip the tree of its berries in one day! The small, oval shaped leaves don't cause a raking problem and turn a good red-orange fall color. Grows 20-25' tall with a spread of15-18'. Hardy to Zone 4.
