Hibiscus ‘Garnet Globes’ is an exceptionally compact hardy hibiscus, forming a dense, rounded plant covered in large, 7-inch dark garnet-red flowers beginning in midsummer. The blooms feature notably dark eyes and appear along the length of the stems, creating a dramatic, full display over broad, dark olive-green foliage. It performs best in full sun with consistently moist, well-drained soil, where regular watering supports larger flowers and lush growth. Hibiscus is always one of the last perennials to emerge in spring, but once it breaks dormancy it fills out quickly.
