Ruby Sunset® Maple

Ruby Sunset® Maple is a refined red maple selection valued for its compact, well-branched form and consistently vibrant fall color. Glossy green leaves form a dense summer canopy before turning a strong, clear red in autumn. Spring flowers are subtle but provide early-season pollen for insects. Compared to many red maples, Ruby Sunset® develops a tighter, more uniform crown, making it an excellent choice where a medium-sized shade tree is desired without excessive spread. Best grown in full sun with moist, well-drained soils, it adapts to a range of site conditions and performs reliably in residential landscapes and larger plantings.
