Pinus jeffreyi ‘Joppi’

A compact, globe‑forming dwarf form of the western Jeffrey pine, ‘Joppi’ packs the striking long needles of its wild relatives into a much smaller, garden‑friendly package. Full puffs of 6–8″ dark green needles grace the branches of this rounded pine, giving it bold texture and presence even at modest size. Selected in the Netherlands by Pete Vergeldt and named for his son Jop, ‘Joppi’ grows much slower and smaller than the native species while keeping all the character—adaptable, sun‑loving, and perfect for sunny rock gardens, containers, courtyards, or tight landscape spaces.
