A refined, early-blooming native, Monarda bradburiana offers soft lavender-pink flowers with showy bracts in late spring to early summer, well before most other beebalms. The compact, well-behaved habit and lightly aromatic foliage make it an excellent choice for gardens where traditional Monarda can be too aggressive. Flowers are highly attractive to native bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, while the plant shows excellent resistance to powdery mildew. Adaptable to sun or part shade, it performs well in average to dry soils once established and fits naturally into pollinator gardens and native plantings.
