Tiarella ‘Oakleaf’ is a shade-loving perennial prized for its oak-shaped, bright green foliage and airy spires of tiny white flowers in spring. The foliage forms a neat basal mound and may develop attractive red tones in fall, offering season-long interest. Long blooming and perfect for massing in shady areas, it is easy to grow and provides loads of early nectar for native pollinators. Soil should not be allowed to dry out completely, but it should not sit in wet soil in winter.
