Buxus ‘NewGen Independence’
A modern boxwood selection bred for exceptional durability and low maintenance. Its dense, glossy green foliage forms a naturally rounded shape with minimal pruning, making it ideal for formal hedges, foundation plantings, or as a specimen accent in mixed borders. ‘NewGen Independence’ shows strong resistance to common boxwood issues such as boxwood blight and leafminer, and its deer resistance adds further landscape reliability. Slow-growing and versatile, it performs well in full sun to part shade and maintains year-round interest in small to medium-sized landscapes.
Why We Love It: Classic boxwood beauty with modern toughness—low-maintenance, disease-resistant, and perfectly reliable for long-lasting structure.
