This fountain is made of premium cast stone and should be placed on a firm, level surface that will not settle. Do not place the fountain directly on mulch or dirt as the moisture from the ground can cause issues over time, including cracking or damage to the finish. We place our fountains on concrete, pavers, or pea gravel for longevity.

IMPORTANT – WINTER CARE

·         Clean and completely dry the fountain’s surfaces before freezing temperatures occur.

·         Store in a place which is not exposed to freezing temperatures.

·         If it is not possible to store indoors:

o    Make sure the base is standing on a properly drained area so water or snow does not pool around it.

o    Put an old towel or burlap in the bowl before covering to collect any condensation. Also throw a piece on top of the fountain if it is a type that has places where condensation would collect.

o    Cover with a Henri fountain cover and ensure the cover is taut, giving no chance for water or snow to pool on the fountain cover.

o    The pump can remain in the fountain, but you could pull the cords up into the bowl so they are off the ground.
