Swamp Milkweed, a.k.a. Rose Milkweed, produces clusters of upturned pink flowers in mid- to late summer. The flowers have a faint vanilla scent and attract butterflies. It is the preferred host and nectar plant for Monarch butterflies. Performs best in moist soil in full sun, growing 3-4' tall and 2-3' wide. Hardy to Zone 3.
