The unusual coning habit tends to modify growth rate and shape, and to produce a broad, spreading pyramid as wide as tall with age. Plant in full sun with room to grow and be admired. Garden size is listed as 12' tall and 8' wide, but will eventually grow 20-25' tall and wide. Hardy to Zone 3.
